so at least i found a pointer myself

|WARN|index.php|406 Not Acceptable|Modules/config/vue

just need to figure out why that is

when i login as admin and do an update from there i get this flashed in the log box

but i happens at the blink of an eye and i was just lucky with a screen capture

i know i can do update with git pull but should i not be able to do it from admin too? and is this maybe related to the graph issue?

the power by is also in the middle of things when looking at server info

See this issue raised on github. It seems the graph module now has a dependency on the config module being installed.

yep, installing config module an all is fine

do you have an idea why clicking update as admin only give a short flash of text?

I’d hazard a guess and say you don’t have the service runner installed so the update options won’t work. IMO the update buttons should not be accessible if the service runner isn’t installed.(except db update of course)

nope, running on shared hosting so its extreme limited on what i can do, but at least i can do ssh access if i use a certificate and putty agent.

but the hoster (unoeuro) gives un-limited mysql space so that engine is the only one i use, and they so far have not complained that i send data from 2 units (heating panels) every 10 sec (sending 2 temps, relay status, target temp, pi cpu temp, uptime).

i wonder what they would say if the same amount of data that hits emoncms.org came in to my install

There is a script in the Usefulscripts repo usefulscripts/update_emoncms.sh at master · emoncms/usefulscripts · GitHub that will update the EmonCMS folder via git and also the sub repos under the Modules folder.

Caveat emptor  You might need to adapt it for use on a shared host.

i can live with doing the folder one by one
if i just know that the update options in the admin side will never work for me

i thought i had some kind of error

No bother.

  • Did you update using the update script?
  • Did you update the Modules (it looks like you did)?
  • Did you clear cache & try in a private window?
  • Did you restart Apache and or reboot?

Updated using Git as its self hosted
updated modules also via git
have cleared cache and tried in new window.
Its somthing thahats happend in the commits in the last 24 hours. last update was monday and that was fine.
Rather not restart server should not need to .

its when you open a dashboard with a graph in.

is config module installed?

seems not to be the case, try to install it first

i have EmonHub Config v2.0.4

thats strangs as i have
image
and cand brows to it hapily enough
if it helps emoncms does not sit in a folder called emoncms .
