I have really limited space available and this really fits my use case. With 2 teenagers, 130L are depleted just in the morning xD
What is your compressor inverter frequency doing between the “off” periods, @bravoleader80? What you are seeing could simply be that LWT is approaching its target so the compressor slows down (to minimum) and - to avoid overshooting LWT target - it stops. Is your circulation pump on PWM control?

I was assuming small Mini Store, plus large battery so store as electricity rather then heat and operatate as Combi.
I don’t like SunAmp needing 60+ flow temperatures for nearly all of the recharge process. Eg no better COP then small MiniStore while costing lots more. Batteries from Fogstar are now so cheap….
Ho Sarah, I think it’s something about overshooting. I haven’t been able to start listening on those registry you gave me for the compressor because for some reasons I’m not able to compile anymore. I guess the developer needs to update the repository with the latest esp32 changes.
In the meantime I went back to water law and indoor temp. All seems back to normal. I guess I’ll stick with it although the cop is lower like this. Flow temp at 34 degrees and AVG of 3.4ish is really poor and I have no idea why. By looking at the MCs certificate it should be 4.2 @35 degrees
COP for heat battery is 2.10 compared to 1 if using the electricity piece.

You didn’t say what the outside temperature was when you measured your average COP of 3.4ish. For the same flow temperature, outside temperature has a big effect on COP. At 7 degC OAT and LWT = 35 degC, I would expect your COP to be around 4.5. However at 3 degC OAT with the same LWT, the COP would be quite a bit lower.
Hey @MikeJH , outdoor temp was 10ish degrees that’s why it really disappointed me
