I messed up my heat pump settings. Willing to pay someone to guide me through

Been trying to find out how to do weather curve settings and then i messed up everything :innocent:
Model: Panasonic WH-MDC05J3E5

Been there and done that so you are not alone. Some more details would be good. what make of heatpump ?. The good news is that it is almost certainly recoverable once you know how.

oops - line with you heatpump details off screen so missed it

I used to work in a research lab and the key to almost everything is to keep a notebook in which you write down everything, even the most trivial. That way you can always backtrack if req. Its a bit tedious but when you need it its a lifesaver.

I have had a quick look at the docs for your heatpump and weather curve seems to be well disguised. Where did you find it ?.

p30 of Owner’s manual is a good starting point.

It is always worth stating the obvious as there is a lot of value in the well tested saying that the bigger the problem the simpler the cause. Have you confirmed that you have an external temperature probe measuring the air temperature outside the house. I Have a Vaillant and although they have a temp probe measuring the input to the heat exchanger they use an entirely separate one for weather compensation mounted on the outside of the house. This is an added extra and does not come with the standard kit. And 2. is it enabled on your system.

Its called compensation curve on this heat pump. I have to turn off the HP to be able to see that setting

Ok - and turning off the heat pump so you can see it is an issue ?. Certainly the compensation curve is vital. If you have managed to set it to something really out of the ordinary inadvertently it can have a huge effect on efficiency. What temperature are your radiators running at currently. If your compensation curve is in the right ballpark, it will be very low. My radiator temp is currently around 25c overnight.

Hi @damspt Have you read this thread - do you have the service manual and is the heat pump connected to the internet, do you have the app?
