two questions:
I am currently using emonPi v1 to monitor my homes power, and more importantly, I am using it to run python code to control my ceramic kiln. I extended emonPi1 by adding a couple of MAX31850 thermocouple amplifiers and I then run the python on the raspberry pi.
I am wanting to modernize my hardware and go to emonpi3, but want to verify I can add the thermocouple amplifier outputs to emonpi 3.

what Rasperry Pi is in the emonPi3? Can I add a couple MAX31850 single wire inputs easily be added?

I presently am monitoring one phase of the split phase power in the USA, I don’t really need to monitor both legs. One will suffice and I presently have an outlet near my emonpi that i have the emonPi v1 transformer plugged into to get voltage to monitor. Should I order the “Single phase (No plug)” option of emonpi3? And the 9v AC-AC adaptor US plug.. and that will get my my voltage ? Or do I need to get the emonVS power supply?
Thanks for the help.
