I use EmonPi to monitor my homes power usage, and created feeds from my ceramic kiln to emoncms so I can view the data on my phone from anywhere… and I graph my kiln firing cycles… running them from a python script on the pi fed by two thermocouples and controlling two 50Amp Solid State Relays.
