Hi, I’ve just installed an emonHP Level 3 heatpump monitoring system (very happy so far!). I have a cylinder with temperature probes at the bottom (for solar thermal) and the middle (for the heatpump), but nothing at the top (there’s a pocket), and I’d like to monitor that. This post suggests the OEM encapsulated DS18B20 sensor, and there are instructions for connecting via RJ45 to an emonPI, but the emonHP has no RJ45 socket. What’s the best way forward here?

Hi, I also wanted to track and display DHW temperature in my heat pump App.
I have done this now by using an ‘Owon’ Zigbee temperature sensor with probe. It is monitored by Home Assistant and the signal transferred as an input to ‘Myheatpump’ via the HA config.yml file method. I have logged this to a new ‘DHW Temperature’ feed but picked this up in the heat pump app as the ‘TargetT’ which I was not using. In fact did not know how to use. (Guidance on the intentions for that would be welcomed)
This only went live today and looks like the attached image so far.
Q. Is it possible to re-name the ‘Myheatpump’ displayed feed names? Or can additional ad-hoc feeds be added for display?
Anyway I’m pleased with this so far.
