The emonPi2 now has a display that shows a lot of good information, but I was somewhat mystified by the WiFi display as it is showing percentages instead of dBm. A little research indicates this is a measure of signal quality vs signal strength.
In case anyone else was wondering about the conversion from signal quality to RSSI, I found this article on SpeedGuide.net
How does RSSI (dBm) relate to signal quality (percent) ? :: SG FAQ (speedguide.net)
So in my case below, 132% Quality equates to -34 dBm (it’s sitting right next to the AccessPoint).
(132%/2)-100 = -34dBm
Enjoy!
