My Fujitsu “Waterstage WSYA100ML3 / WOYA100KLT” Heatpump is not running because the weather is so warm. Why does the water pump keep running 24/7 and is there anything I could to do to stop it?
I know I could turn it off using the time control but I’m sure that sooner or later this warm spell is going to end.
Thanks
I can’t answer the exact question about your heat pump, but our Daikin pump does go off most of the time, but it still runs more than when we turn the heating off via the control app.
So that’s what I do to really stop it.
When the cold spells return we put it back on again.
I’m pretty sure the one that makes the most noise is in the Pump in the cabinet indoors. I have another pump for the underfloor and that is also running all the time.
When we went from boiler to ASHP we confirmed with Daikin that the Althema 3 could run both UFH floors, the 4 towel rails and the single K3 rad we have, and removed the 2 Grundfos pumps and polypipe mixer manifolds / valves that were installed for the boiler (one per floor).
Most efficient way I understand is to remove.
Providing the ASHP has enough pump capacity.
One of my concerns leaving the pumps was that the ASHP couldn’t do the once a day 1 min run of the pumps to prevent them seizing up, while the heating is off all summer.
Sounds like they hard wired yours to run all the time?
