Can I use EmonPi/EmonCMS to monitor the mains voltage throughout the day?
If yes, what is the resolution and/or restrictions to this monitoring?
Yes. If it’s your own emoncms on your Pi, no restriction at all, apart from data storage. The default sketch in the emon part of the Pi records to 2 decimal places every 5 s, but you can change that if you wish by editing, recompiling and reloading the sketch.
(Beware - it records to 2 decimal places. That doesn’t mean it is accurate to that. It will only be as accurate as you can calibrate it. Out-of-the-box, most people find it’s within about 5%.)
