Hello Everyone,

I moved into a property early this year which already had a heat pump installed. It is a VWL aroTHERM plus /6 Mono 125. I have this week added an internet gateway to the system to complement the sensoCOMFORT display that was already there and starting to get more to grips with how everything is set up. From what I gather the previous owner was a plumber so it has been a self install.

I may be being really dim but how do I get the gateway to update the firmware for the heat pump? I see people discussing various Vaillant firmwares but I cannot see what version my heat pump currently has or where I can update it.

Really appreciate the help topics on the page, I am learning all sorts of new things about heating curves :laughing:

The current version of all components is viewable via the sensocomfort, but none can be updated, other than by physically swapping PCBs.

Yep, firmware updates need a PCB replacement. I’ve been through that.

Many thanks for that, it certainly sounds like a pain. I had thought it would be as simple as upgrading firmware on other devices like computers, routers etc. That would have been too easy :laughing:
