Update on 3-phase system

The three-phase power supply has been available for a little while now. How well is it implemented? I can’t find much info about it. Perhaps a status update could be given here, or documented. Is it “just working” or otherwise is there a roadmap to get there? Can we in the community help?

Three phase power is common throughout the world, and was first developed well over 100 years ago. It’s normal for all electricity distribution to be 3-phase, except for the final stage to domestic and very small industrial consumers.

Or did you not ask the right question?

The emonVS three-phase voltage sensing power supply is fully working, the implementation works well. The emonVS three-phase provides an AC voltage sample from each phase as well as DC 5V to power the emonPi or emonTx. It’s basically what was previously coined ‘full-fat’ three-phase monitoring, with voltage sample from each phase:

OK thanks for your answer. I read this post from an otherwise informative forum user but didn’t find any update since then.
I had purchased the previous version and tried to calculate power usage as a ‘low-fat’ version but found the actual power consumption not really calculable, except on a water heater.
If its all working I will just invest in the new unit.

I don’t know if it’s necessary to call you out on this dismissive post. I would personally avoid talking to people like they’re idiots until they demonstrate to me that they are. Your approach seems to presume it. Responses like this don’t make much of a community where people enjoy asking questions, sharing information etcetera.
