This system was very close to being a standard emonSD-30Oct18, with the exception of trying to install phpmyAdmin. This failed installation caused problems when I tried to do the upgrade the first time from the Admin menu. I removed the phpmyAdmin, then the update from the Admin menu worked.
This system is just a RPi 3B+ with no additional hardware.
Now I had been having problems with sync, but I can’t determine if I have the updated module as it doesn’t show the version number in the admin section.

Hi, on the Administration page, click on
and paste the output into a message here. No further formatting required.
I suspect in helping solve the issue, you moved onto the master branch rather than stable.
Cheers
Sorry I mixed up the version text file on the update to 9.9.8. I’ve removed the beta tag now, if you run update again it should show 9.9.8. This was a minor update to fix a missing icon on the feeds page.
Ok, great. I was having one of “those” days yesterday and I thought I had caused the problem.
Thank you both for your help.
I notice also that some of the module version numbers are not showing in the Admin/Server Information. Particularly Sync.

Putting in version numbers is something that has been developed over time and not all Modules have them, mostly those Modules that are ‘core’ i.e. that are installed from the main repo.
