Standalone RPi Logger

Hi chaps, I’ve been trawling through all of the info on here and still can’t find an answer. Hoping someone can help.

Is there any way that the Emonbase on the RPi can be used to sense and log the power data directly rather than using a Tx module? With my current setup at home, I don’t really need to use a transmitter as the base would be sitting right next to the main box.

Many thanks in advance

Hi Barker,

The emonPi does exactly what you describe: local energy monitoring on a RaspberryPi. If you don’t want the added cost of enclosure + LCD you can just purchaser the emonPi RaspberryPi shield PCB only:

Just select “Assembled PCB Only - No Enclosure”
