Thank you much. I saw that post and it seemed to be that if you already have a 12 digit identifier, then that post does not apply. If you have a 12.digit identifier and the board is actually registered, then it seems you are stuck with a board you cannot register. I’m waiting for a response from technical support to see if there is a way to de-register a board.
How accurate do you find the Shelly EM, as it uses CTs?
Their documentation says it’s B class. (IEC 62053-21)
1%.
I stumbled on the Eastron SDM230-WiFi which potentially avoids the need for something to decode the m-bus/modbus data when using it with Home Assistant.
Hi.
Just installed a Shelly EM V3 and I’m controlling and monitoring my hot water system. I’m using a N/C 25amp contactor relay via the Shelly output wire. Problem is the Shelly app switch is inverted for my needs. Is there any way to change it through the firmware so that when i want my relay off it is actually “turn off” in the app. i could easily use a N/O relay but if the Shelly fails my hot water wouldn’t heat up. Cheers
