Save data without access to a server

Hello to all the community,

I am a new user of the emonPi. I want to use it in public buildings (schools, halls, …). In most cases the electrical box is located in rooms without ethernet access, wi-fi, etc. like boiler rooms or basements.
My question is: is it possible to save the data on the SD card from the emonPi ? If not, what are the alternatives?

Thank you for your help !

Ronan

Your emonPi is your server. It does store the data, but then you’ll need to either connect to it locally to view/extract the data (for which one of the backup scripts might help), or take it off-line and swap SD cards (with all the implications for continuity of recording etc).
