Resetting OpenEVSE

I have an OpenEVSE that was previously connected to a solar monitor via MQTT.

This meant, when plugged in, the vehicle wouldn’t start charging unless I pressed the bypass button on the side.

However, I now want to move to octopus intelligent go, and need the EVSE to revert to ‘plug and go’ as standard. I’ve tried turning the solar function off but it doesn’t seem to save that setting. Can anyone advise on next steps? I can’t see a ‘reset to default’ option anywhere??

Thanks in advance

Do you know if the OpenEVSE is a supported charger in Octopus Intelligent Go?

Can you link to the page where Octopus show OpenEVSE as a compatible charger please.

The charger is listed on their charger list, whether that means it’s compatible or not, I don’t know. My integration with OIG works through the car rather than the charger, but this means I need the charger to be awake and ready to charge when the car wants to. Currently it’s the other way round, the charger has full control.

Can you say where that list is found please.

I’m interested because I have an emonEVSE and would like to know if IOG is an option for me. My car is not able to integrate with IOG itself.

The OpenEVSE charger is on their charger list but won’t work with a non compatible EV. For instance, I have an Ioniq Electric which isn’t acceptable with the EVSE charger but if I change the vehicle to a Tesla Model 3 it is acceptable with the EVSE charger. The Ioniq is acceptable to them if I use one of the chargers with which they can communicate.

IOW either the charger or the vehicle needs to be compatible with their system.
