Reset HTTP auth password on ESP8266?

Hello,

I’ve received my EmonTX + ESP8266 today, and during setup entered a username and password for HTTP auth on the ESP8266 web interface. For whatever reason, I am unable to login as the web interface for the ESP8266 keeps asking for a username and password.

Is there a way to reset the username and password, or to disable HTTP auth?

Edit: If it is of any significance, I used a password manager to generate the password. Could there be certain characters that are silently dropped, or a limit to the password length?

Edit 2 (Solution): Ok so there is a length limit to the password - 16 characters. How would I go about raising a bug? Arbitary limit and/or Web UI accepts longer and silently drops.
