Doesn’t seem to actually mean anything for the way OEM uses it though?

My understanding is that this does not affect us as we are using redis core (BSD Licence), the common clause affects RediSearch, Redis Graph, ReJSON, Redis-ML, Rebloom which we don’t use. Redis Licensing Overview - Redis
