We share our Emon EVSE so it’s important for us to be able to monitor how much a charge uses. For years now we have had accurate figures, but looking at last nights charge, I can’t get the numbers to add up.
The car has a 62kWh battery pack and we took it from 19% to 100%… this should be around 50kWh, and previously in similar situations, the charger would log 48 or 49kWh.
The history (see photo) shows several charging sessions last night, with figures of 38.9 and later, 38.4kwh.
Looking at my smart meter, the car definitely used about 50KWh, so I’m at a loss to explain why the charger is either out by 10kWh, or out by 27kWh!!
Any ideas why this might be?
