Per title, I need to move my emonpi location and therefore move the mains CT from the emonpi to a emontx3.
Is it possible to keep / move the historical data for the CT so its still available?
Have tried some forum searches but no luck so far.
Write down the Input processes you have for the c.t. input. Unfortunately, there’s no copy mechanism. Then (important) delete the ‘Log to feed’ in the emonPi input process list to prevent zero values possibly overwriting the new data. You can delete all the steps if you wish. Don’t delete the Feed. You should be able to move the c.t. physically (take it off the cable before unplugging it, and plug it in before putting it back on), whereupon it will appear - assuming your emonTx recognises the c.t. (restart it if it doesn’t) and it is already being received by the emonPi - as an input in the emonTx list in emonCMS. You then copy the input processes you had and log to the original feed (from the list, rather than CREATE NEW).
If you use that c.t. Input anywhere else, you’ll need to change those process steps too.
