Hello All,
I am new to PCB design and am trying to decide which software to use. Googling around the internet a bit, it looks like the two most compelling options are KiCAD and Eagle CAD (freemium?). Does anybody here have recommendations on whether to use one of these vs. the other? Pros/cons/preferences, etc.?

Hello @steamengineben we’ve been using Eagle CAD for OpenEnergyMonitor designs but I think KiCAD has come on a long way in recent years, I’d like to give it a go.
Both of these has great amount of libraries. There are similar design technics also for both. Just start from somewhere and you will realise that all are based to same concept.
