OpenEVSE WiFi Fails to Update from v4.2.2 to Latest stable: v5.1.1

Apologies if covered previously. When I try to do the Action | Update I see the following:

Latest v5.1.1 undefined | Release ticked (No file selected) | Direct Install (Auto Install from GitHub) | Confirm | ‘Starting update, please wait’

It never completes and does not Update from 4.2.2 I’ve tried it several times since installing the charge point which does work fine but I’m now starting to research how to integrate it, as others have done, with Octopus Agile and Home Assistant. I recall being able to Update once, shortly after installing the charge point but not since.

OpenEVSE 7.0.2.T2 - I understand from reading these forums that this firmware can only be updated with a cable which I do have but may not be necessary anyway unless advised here.

Any guidance welcome.

Thanks

Try to upload the firmware file. This can be done via the web interface.

This is the firmware file you will need to use if you have a WiFi V1 module: https://github.com/OpenEVSE/openevse_esp32_firmware/releases/download/v5.1.2/openevse_wifi_v1.bin

Check inside your unit to see what WiFi module you have if you’re not sure:

Thanks Glyn, Uploading the firmware worked.
