Hi all,

Just swapped to a Tesla and charging it with the OpenEVSE that I have had for many years, however I notice that under the settings area there is a section for “vehicle” with the option for Tesla and a section to put in the info for my Tesla account. I am on Octopus IOG and have successfully paired this to the Tesla. My question is this, what would filling in this section do for me and would it mess up IOG?

Hi John,

Entering your Tesla login shouldn’t mess anything up. The OpenEVSE only reads the SoC, it does not send any commands to the vehicle.
