OpenEVSE module is missing. Please check your setup before going further

I was trying to troublshoot some wireless issues I was having and upgraded the firmware via the web interface from here:

Releases · OpenEVSE/openevse_esp32_firmware (github.com)

I appear to have the OpenEVESE Wifi V1, and after the firmware update I am now stuck with that message and a simplified web interface.

I can’t seem to find a simple guide for idiots like me on reflashing or updating anything, can someone point me in the right direction?

The message indicates that the WiFi module is not starting, properly. What do you mean by “simplified interface”? Could you post a screenshot?

What FW version where you updating from? Are you sure you have a OpenEVSE WiFi V1 hardware module? Do you know your original order number?
