I would like to know what we use capacitor in this circuit for? I’m really new to this so i would like to know the anwser to this question. Thank you very much.
It is there to “ground” the a.c. signal at the “midpoint” - see the circuit diagram: Learn→Electricity Monitoring→CT Sensors→3. Interfacing with an Arduino→CT Sensors - Interfacing with an Arduino
and especially this:
