Hi All,
Thanks for reading my post, I’m just about to have our heatpump installed in about 3 weeks time, and I’ve bought the level 3 heatpump monitoring kit, which the installers will install for me. I suspect their ability to do much more than install the kit and the HP will be minimal, which is absolutely fine.
We will get the basics up and running, but wondered if i can feed my local weather data from my own weather station (which i have in Home Assistant already) , and my (average) collective Shelly H&T temperature and humidity sensor (i have 9 in the house, & will create an average house temperature), from Home Assistant back up to Emoncms and then back into my live dashboard.
It appears from my searching this might be possible, but some guidance would be helpful please. I did search the documentation, but suspect most people use the default weather /temperature, which I’m assuming is met office for your “area”?
The main reason I’m really interested in collecting this data, is i live quite high up and on the side of a wind effected hill and id actually prefer to capture actual temperature, rather than a generic data for a wider area which will be poor resolution to my actual location.
I did buy the internal temperature sensor, but, if i can service my HA data, that’d be fabulous and more wise friendly. ![]()
Any direction on where to start, if possible, would be massively, massively appreciated.
Have a great weekend,
AG
