Do we need to remove the metoffice feed in advance of them retiring the data point on the 1st December?
From local EmonHP or Emoncms.org?

DataPoint is being replaced by DataHub for forecasts. Observations are supposed to be replaced with a new service but no details are yet available despite it being developed ‘in the summer’.
edit to add: I’ve just been told “there is a possibility observation data will be available on Weather DataHub by 23rd September. However this date isn’t 100% confirmed and is subject to change.”
FWIW, DataHub now has observation data available. It’s a bit weird protocol and the data format is different, so I’m still part way through adapting my program to feed it to my emoncms. I don’t know how much longer Data Point will keep working. It keeps having problems with the data flow getting ‘stuck’ but they restart it when I report it so far ..
We already use DataHub for emoncms heat pump metoffice outdoor temp data.
