I am logging data to the EmonCMS with our Solar installation data. The corresponding graph of the power on “MySolarApp” web page is fine! But the App is calculating the energy on its own, which is not very accurate!
It is being affected by the internet connectivity. For the time the EmonPi is offline the values on the graphs continues to be constant. Which is the assumption programmed by the MySolarApp developer I suppose! The calculation is based on this assumption and eventually it does not correspond to the actual Inverter Instruments reading at the end of the day. Therefore this issue is to be resolved at the earliest for the MySolarApp to be more useful in places with not very good internet connectivity. Or else the Solar energy field is made to take in the energy value feed can be helpful.
