Anyone know a MMSP installer willing to take over an agreement for an existing installation? Ours has gone into administration and they’ve not told us they’ve ceased trading or ended our agreement, but I’ve seen a report saying most staff have been laid off.
This would be equipment specific @mjr
What kit is installed that you’re needing somebody to provide a head end for?
I’m guessing this is for an Ecodan, and the performance data is stored on Mitsubishi servers?
Yes, all done from melcloud so far, but I do have recent data in oem too. Ecodan kit. I can go read model numbers if anyone tells me which are needed.
Pity you’re not allowed to be your own provider… (just be MCS certified)
In case you’ve not found it, this is the MMSP guide: Domestic-RHI-Metering-Monitoring.pdf (731.8 KB)
Sorry. Missed this until now.
I think we have a “head end” in that it’s all connected to Melcloud from the ecodan 8.5kW. What I think we need is someone with MCS accreditation to include our figures from a melcloud login I give them (or an openenergymonitor one if they prefer) in their reports to Ofgem.
I’ve contacted loads of providers, only had two replies so far, both negative. I can understand it, because MMSP is a closed and declining scheme, but it’s still annoying if our bad (booted off MCS) supplier costs us another ~£400 in lost repayments because the theoretical capability to transfer provider stated in the Ofgem guides doesn’t really exist in practice.
