Kamstrup 403 not measuring flow

Hi there,

Hoping for some insight please!

I have a Kamstrup 403 heat meter purchased off ebay (new). The meter has been installed on the flow side, with the arrow on the pipe body in the direction of the flow and I have changed the flow on the meter to Inlet to reflect its position.

For some reason I’m getting a “wrong flow direction” error (00004000).

Any suggestions as to what the real issue could be please?

Does the small symbol on the screen now show the arrow on the top left of the little hook? A photo might be useful.

I’m not home right now, but the arrow is currently at the top (inlet position). It was on the bottom (outlet position) to start with and still showed the wrong flow direction error
