I have a Spirovent RV2 deaerator ready to go into my system which is suffering from “air in the system” errors on the DHW cycle, and I am wondering the best location for it.
My Primary flow comes into the garage at low level directly behind the heat pump.
It then goes vertical up to the garage ceiling and this length of pipe will be the hottest part of the flow which satisfies the Spirotech instruction. After that the flow pipe goes horizontal across the ceiling for a couple of metres where there is an AAV.
The lengths in this vertical pipe (top to bottom) are:
800mm plain pipe.
300mm Axioma heat meter
800mm plain pipe.
Would it be OK to put the Spirovent in the top or bottom 800mm length? If so, is there a critical spacing.
