How to correct data on a fixed period due to a reversed CT clamp

Hello the community,

I’ve just realized that for over a period of time, I have reversed my CT clamp for solar input. I have put it back to normal but how can I process data so I can correct my data in terms of power as well as kWh ?

Thanks in advance

I think you can do it in two steps.

First, you must invert all the values in the Solar feed that are wrong. You can do this with Setup → Visualisation → Editor and select the feed. Next, zoom and move the window so that the wrong values (or part, you might have to zoom in further if you do not see “Individual data point editing enabled”) exactly fill the window. You can then use “Multiply data in the window by a float or a fraction” - the number of course you multiply by is -1.0

Second, you must move to Setup → Post Process and repeat the calculations you made with the “wrong” data. I have never used this, and I think there is no more documentation or examples to help you. But if you always create a new Feed, if it is wrong you can delete it and try again.

And before you ask, I have no idea what “recent only” means.
A quick experiment shows… It works from the start, i.e. exactly like “from the start”.

That approach should do the job. Just to add, it’s worth double-checking any derived feeds (like consumption or net usage) after inverting the solar feed, since they won’t update automatically unless you reprocess them. Also a good idea to keep a backup before editing, just in case something goes off.
