I’ve got the heatpump Monitoring Kit and am sensing my indoor and outdoor temperatures to my local emonpi instance and they show up under inputs, node id 19 as specified in home assistant Emoncms history config.
But the is not forwarded on to Emoncms.org like the other inputs.
What do I have to do to make that happen?
Inputs are not forwarded, feeds are. You have to create a feed from those inputs and then set your synchronization setting in emonCMS up so they also sync those new feeds to emoncms.
I don’t think that’s correct. All the EMonPi2 inputs, like p1-6, e1-6 are forward. As are the heat pump inputs. Some confusion comes from the sync tab, that indeed allows you top select feeds (but not regularly sync them). for me the feds on Emoncms are created from the inputs.
Oh thanks, you are correct that works, there are two ways to sync sync data, it’s just that as part of the emonhp kit the other inputs are configured (somewhen that I can’t see) to replicate via emon. I just had to delete all the inputs and feeds both locally and on emoncms.org that I had created and then set up home assistant to sync to the local emonpi. Then the sync page allows me to select the feeds I want to sync. Looks like it now works! Thanks.

Ah that makes sense - I don’t have an emonhp kit but just a local emonCMS instance and there were no default inputs. Glad it works!
