Help with ssh commands to delete backup files

Help please. I am in the throws of renovating at home. I have stupidly packed away all my manuals and notes and my last backup has failed because of lack of space (used 93% avail 193mb on /var/opt/emoncms).

I can get into SSH but really can’t remember the “list all” and “delete file” commands. “change directory” is CD?
