Help DIY BMS 43S LFP

Congratulations to everyone for the great work done!

It seems incredible to me.

A few months ago I bought a 2002 Peugeot 106 electric.
NICD batteries are bad and wanted to upgrade to LFP.

I have seen several options and the one that seems easiest to me is to put 43S of 105Ah (http://www.dcmax.com.tw/LF105(3.2V105Ah).pdf) EVE, because there is a buying group, and they are very well priced. Also, with this capacity I already have enough for do the km I need.

I spoke to a friend who did it and he told me that if he did it now he would look at Stuart’s BMS. I didn’t know what it was, and I got here. I have also asked EMUS and they told me €1700… :money_mouth_face: :smiling_face_with_tear:

I hope that the DIYBMS can be cheaper.

But I’m seeing that if they were 16S it would be relatively easy for me to do (well, not easy, but I’d know where to start…because here there is a lot of information).

But my doubt (forgive the long introduction…) is if I can make a DIYBMS but with 43S? (not sure yet if I will put 40S or 46S, I have seen people who have put both sizes and they are fine).

And if it can be done if there is already information and you can tell me where to look for it, perfect. And if there is not much information and you can help me I will be very grateful.

If you can think of any other option I’d love to hear it!
Many thanks in advance,
And congratulations again for the job, well done!

i use my 106 32s li-ion every day but with the v4.0 bms, bought the 16s bms modules for the future.

Thanks Marc,
At t’he end i buy a DalyBms. I think that at t’he moment i don’t have such expirience. And i can’t dos It all… Too many things to think about!
So you have a peugeot 106 ev? It’s great!
Mines have the converter 120v-12v broke, and a friend help me to found the problem. Also de vaccum pump was bad, and i buy a new one…
And more little thinks that Will appear.
