Trystan, would it be possible to add a column showing the areas where the installations have been done. So South West, East Midlands etc. There must be some official grouping of counties into regions that could be used to derived this.
My thinking is that fir anyone looking for an installer this would be much more useful than the map, where individual installations are shown.

Thanks @Bramco would it be better if we asked installers their preferred area, some may advertise this already? I know some make exceptions to their usual area on some projects ..
Great idea Trystan - and maybe there should be a filter to only show installers willing to take on work. I think lower down the list, there are a lot of individuals who have self installed and wouldn’t be interested in doing it for anyone else.
It took me a while before I identified an installer that might be interested in doing an install for us. had to look at about 20 web sites.
Maybe the HPM map view would have been useful for this? This shows all the installations on a map:

Most installers are willing to travel sometimes a long way for work, but the further they travel, the more they will have to charge! So I reckon it’s in your interest to find a good localish installer.
Hi Glyn, the trouble with the map is that it mixes installers that have done several installations with self installers - while you may look at the local ones, they all might be self installs. So, if you are looking for an outfit to do the install for you, the list is much better because you can see the installers that have done multiple installs.
