Evening all.
I’ve started to add my cascade system onto this excellent platform. Great work all. I’ll add it to public viewing once it’s all running.
I’m using a 2nd pi5 just for emoncms, running on HA. Data is via MQTT from my first pi5 . I wanted to keep the systems separate because predbat runs on my first pi5.
I’m sending live power via esp32 and a pulse sensor. I’m sending that data via API and mqtt. My first pi5 is still being used to monitor my ashp on HA
After a few days playing I’ve got my first graph. Nice. Luckily DHW was running so I could monitor for any issues.
When the DHW finished i got a false positive for air in the system. Is this something I have to live with or can I change settings within emoncms to ignore the ASHP powering down?
The other minor issue is the max power spike. I’ll change the esp32 Yaml to clean up the data.
I’ll added the secondary ASHP in the next few days. For the cascade part of the system I’m not 100% sure what data to display to represent my system when both are running.
What’s the minimum I need to record meaningful data via a cascade system ?
It would be marvellous if there was cascade template that I could drop all my sensors into emoncms.
Thanks.
