I have been using the new image, restored a backup and after 5 days the feed writer service has stopped.

Thanks for letting us know @Pukka . Did you get it back up ok? Did anything appear in the Admin > Logger section (/var/log/emoncms.log) Will keep an eye on this.

I manually restarted the feed writer server and the pending log went down. it looks like the data has been lost.
I can post the logs later today
