Today I bought an ADC 16Bits I2C (ADS1115).

Unfortunately, the 1115 is too slow which means it won’t produce accurate results.

I’ve searched a lot now, but am still unsure if this is possible, and it so, how it can be done. I want to monitor current of three phases (SCT clamp sensors) and voltage (ZMPT sensor), all outputing voltage. This works fine if i use the single analogue input of the wemos, but as it has only one, it used the external ADS1115 connected via I2C. Does emonlib still need the analogue pin entered in the sketch - eg. emon1.current1(1, 111.1), or is there a workaround for the ADS1115? Any help real…

I see, thank you. I will drop the peak-based calculation technique I put together and replace it with the RMS method. In theory, I suppose I should be able to somewhat accurately calculate the power consumption of my space heater using my current calculation method since it’s a resistive load, but I understand why this won’t work for more complex electronics. I ordered the ADS1015 and it will be here tomorrow - I suppose I have some time until then to at least play around with the 1115 and …
