Hi
When I enable Enable daily pre-processor Enable split between water and space heating in daily view
I get an error when looking att Yearly and All timeframes.
And maybe connected to the value for Total Heat output and SCOP changes.
I suspect something failed in the update when first enabled? Not sure where I should look to fix this.

Hi, and welcome to the forum
There are 3 days at the beginning of the year which have been detected as having some erroneous data, possibly due to air trapped in the heating circuit which has since been removed.
Not seeing it on later days, so probably nothing to worry about.
There looks to be a difference in how heat output is being accumulated on the heatpump_heat_kwh
energy feed vs. what the daily pre-processor is adding up from the heatpump_heat
power feed. We would expect a small discrepency, like for Electricity Input, but not as much as 10%.
How are you collecting the heat output?
If the feeds are a little wonky at the very start, you can set the “Start date” in the app configuration to a later date, so that the app ignores data from before that time.
Use https://www.unixtimestamp.com/ to pick the appropriate timestamp.
Hi
I get my data from Home Assistant… And when looking into the data from the “Start date” I can’t see any issues there.
I think find what the “Data Error” is might be a good first step to see if that is where the big difference comes from.
I’m not sure how I can find that, as I see nothing in the few logs I find.
Is this answer for this post?
Yes.
Click on one of the red dots in the overview, and see what the power grid shows.
When examining the code as the cursor turns in to a non clickable link over the Data Error, I find
DATA ERROR
I maybe also should add I run EmonCMS as an addon inside Home Assistant
The DATA ERROR message is just to highlight that some of the days in the view have some erroneous data. You need to click on the bar for that day to see the power graph for that day.
Click on one of these days in March:
Ahhh, it does not help that I’m colour blind
Not sure what I’m looking for… I have attached screenshots and cannot see anything “strange” in the graphs.

Second Occurrance
Third Occurance
Indeed, those data errors are just processing glitches - I get the same on mine, so I think you can safely ignore them. It’s a known issue that will hopefully get fixed at some point.
As for the discrepancy between total heat and SCOP with and without daily processing, I don’t know. Would need @Trystan to look into that. Is this data published on emoncms.org?
No I don’t think so… But I could publish if it helps to find the error.
Can you point in the direction what steps to do that?
