EmonTx Shield SMT Max Current

Hi everyone,

I know that you can get CT sensors that measure up to 200A. The suggested clamps from Emon are rated up to 100A. Is there any reason other than calibration in the firmware that the EmonTx Shield wouldn’t measure up to 200A?

No. Given the correct burden resistor and calibration, there’s no real limit.

The same goes for the emonTx and the emonPi, as all 3 have basically the same input configuration and input software.
