emonTX change wifi settings

Hello,

I have an emonTx with wifi shield up and running. Due to some issues at the time, the wifi shield doesn’t have the ‘spifs’ installs, so I’m running the admin page on a laptop and connecting to the modules IP address.

Question is - I changed my main house wifi name, and now the emonTX doesn’t connect, and I can’t see a way to update it.

Can anyone point to a way to do this? I don’t have it open just now, but i think there was factory reset button, but that didn’t seem to do anything either.

Hello @jonshutt is this a shop bought ESP8266 Wifi module?

If you are able to connect to the module the factory reset API is IPADDRESS/reset, but it would be easier I think to complete the rest of the setup with the spiffs in place?
