emonTH slow reading for heat

Hi to the lovely community of OEM,

Our emonTH has this behavior where its able to sense cooler temperature better than hotter temperature.

When the emonTH is placed in a freezer (-6 degree celsius), the drop in the temperature reading can be seen after a minute or so. However, when we place the emonTH in a heating compartment (at 60degree celsius), the rise in the temperature reading can only be seen after 5-10 minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, how can we resolve this to make the sensors sense the heat at a faster rate?

You most likely need to increase the air flow across the sensor, which is inside the case, of course. Having the ventilation slots top and bottom, rather than at the sides, will help.
