Hi,
I have just noticed my emonPi is no longer connected to WiFi, and no longer recieving data from my iotaWatt.
This has happened around the same time as i updated the firmware on my Asus router and we had work done on my solar system with many power inturuptions during the same day. but since i have not logged into the system for a week or so leading up to it im not sure if either event is relevant or not.
I can log into the device using ethernet, then open settings>network>WiFi and select my WiFi network in the list, I enter my password and it just says “connecting to (and my wifi name)” and the spinning logo, nothing happens with no messages.
- if i try the same with an intentionally inncorect password i have the same behaviour.
- retstarted my router, checked for any settings that may have changed, but everything looks ok.
- when i refresh the page it returns to the first option to “connect to a WiFi network”.
- I then turned on the emonPi hotspot and the network is visible and i was able to login using emonpi2016 password so i presume the WiFi hardware is all functional.
any ideas what may be going on here?
cheers,
