My emonpi is losing the time. What steps so I have to follow to set the correct time on the emonpi?

Does the emonPi have an active internet connection? Can you connect via SSH and ping google?
$ping 8.8.8.8
If the emonPi does not have an internet connection due to the environment it’s installed you will need to add an RTC to keep time: EmonPi - OpenEnergyMonitor Wiki
Yes it does have an internet connection. I bought the system but have no idea how to SSH or ping it.

Did it have an interent connection when the unit was booted up? I beleive the Raspberry Pi gets NTP time when it boots up. Try restarting with an interent connection.
