Emonhub will not start on Ubuntu install

demandshaper fixed by editing the “user” parameter in file /lib/systemd/system/demandshaper.service

I think there is an Issue open for this (for a long time) @glyn.hudson

I don’t install demonadshaper - unless you need it - it is a processor hog.

I don’t use demandshaper, so I’ll disable the service, thanks.

Final last tweaks to get the system up and running, emonhub config was missing, didn’t get cloned by the install scripts.

Fixed by…

cd /var/www/emoncms/Modules
git clone -b stable https://github.com/emoncms/config.git

I know the primary focus on the emoncms eco-system is RaspberryPi images, but having the whole thing run on a VM/container is very useful!

Yes, I run my primary system on a PVE LXC, but doesn’t have emonhub installed on that
