Emoncms_mqtt randomly stops when Disable further input creation is enabled

I have in the last week updated 4 emonPi1 devices to use the EmonSD Release from Feb2024 with all the latest Bookworm OS Updates and Emon Package Updates.

Having had random inputs appearing for sometime I noticed the ‘Disable further input creation’ option at the bottom of the input view and enabled it.

However it appears with this enabled I found the emoncms_mqtt randomly stopped working on all of my EmonPi devices. Whilst I was investigation on one device I noticed that emoncms_mqtt logged a message about failing to create new input and then journalctl showed it stopped.

Was there anything else in the log?

Nothing thast seemed significant at the time and it seems the logs are now gone.

Apologies for the delay on this, this issue is now fixed. Disabling further input creation now works when using emoncms_mqtt.
