Ecodan DHW timer settings

If I want the Heat pump to direct the flow to DHW at a certain time, do I have to set the home heating timing to “Off” during the same period, or does the DHW timing automatically take priority? I.E. Can I leave home heating on all the time?

Yes, you can leave the heating on all the time, and schedule the hot water to come on when you want it to.

If the hot water is taking a very long time, it can be interrupted by the heating if the house needs it.

Snippet from Ecodan FTC6 manual:

Default setting is to heat the water cylinder for up to an hour, and allow for 30 minutes of central heating after that hour.
