Ebus and Mitsubishi Ecodan?

I’ve done some searches but can’t find a definitive answer.

Is it possible to connect something like an eBUS adapter 3 to an FTC6 controller?

Not that I’ve seen. Most useful direct connection is outlined at GitHub - SwiCago/HeatPump: Arduino library to control Mitsubishi Heat Pumps via connector cn105 but I’ve not attempted it.

If you’re looking for a standard interface for the Ecodan, I think the only option is Modbus. Mitsubishi sells an adapter, the snappily-named Procon MelcoBEMS Mini (A1M), but it’s expensive. (I bought one second-hand to help reverse engineer further bits of the CN105 protocol, beyond what’s in that library – an ongoing project.)
