I just bought one of these and am having trouble configuring it. I’ve got the config page up from the EBUS access point and put in 10.0.0.0 based address and my 10.0.0.1 gateway, save and reboot. It keeps the config but doesn’t appear via nmap after the reboot? Perhaps this is normal? Not going to connect it to the boiler (obvs) until I’m on top of the config.
I have a Stick on order so have been reading the instructions carefully in anticipation… When you power the device on in access point mode I believe you enter your WiFi details into the config and then power cycle; it should then come back up on your network.
Hi Dan, Yes thanks, I’ve found that repeated press on reset puts it back into config. I had that wrong, logically it needed to be a wifi client. I would have liked to force it to have a fixed IP but since its ‘on’ the address lease should do it. So it’s all working and I’m now working on some details to interpret the data flow coming out.
